He then quickly told her to go wait in his room and then he was like no, go in the basement. Obviously trying to hide her and then I guess he looked and saw it was someone and then told her nevermind. Do you think he has a girlfriend?My friend said he is always trying to make out with her and kiss her and buy her things but doesn''t want to date her.

He is only buying her gifts to keep her happy and to keep her on his tail end. This is a subtle but decpetive method of trying to pull the wool over her eyes.You said he attempts to kiss her but doesnt want to date her. He has given the game away by refusing to date her simply because he is unavailable.
It is best to not beat around the bush, he is only seeing her for physical contact and to relieve his sexual tension/frustration :/.
Judging by his actions, he is on edge for a good valid reason,because he is petrified of being caught red handed, and is using this girl as a "bit on the side". I would advise this girl to not take things any further with this guy otherwise it could end up like a yo yo, and she could end up becoming too attached to something which is bound to end in a disaster. This guy could end up cheating on this girl if they ended up an item. She has to cut the emotional string to prevent him from winding her in whenever it suits him, and to spare her any potential heart break.There are plenty more fish in the sea :) xxx

reader, anonymous, writes (22 May 2011): I am the orignal poster and both his parents know her and like her dearly. They always trying to feed her when she is there. So, it is obviously another girl and she was supposed to ask him last nite but I doubt she did.

or maybe he has a really strict father who does not like his son to be happy. Why not tell your friend to ask him sraight? she will know by his reaction if he is trying to think up something quick or not. It dont mean he has another women never jump to conclusions unless you know the facts. Otherwise you will end up a paranoid person always thinking the worst of people. If it was another women do you realy think he would be that stupid to bring her back to his house knowing anyone of the neighbours could see them and tell his other women? if so then tell her to walk away from it. but get the facts first. concrete evidence wether his cheating or not.

 of course it could have been his very judgmental mother, though I doubt that scenario!
More likely he either has a wife or a girl friend. Or both! He is playing up and has done it before, if he is so arrogant/disrespectful/over-confident that he would bring another girl to his home.
Or he's such a poor player that he cannot even afford a hotel room.
Anyway you look at it please tell your friend to scrub this guy. She has no future with this player.

 Well, normally two plus two makes four so I'd assume it makes four this time too.
Obviously, he wanted to hide you friend from somebody's eyes. And if this somebody was not supposed to know about your friend 's existence it makes sense she is ..another woman.
