Richard_EMids agony auntSorry, just noticed you're doing a survey. Ok I'm 80 kgs , about 176 pounds. I'm fit, so I would say average.

That's the results for two of us in, just leaves the other 6,600,000,000 to respond now

Richard_EMids agony auntI can answer this so easily for you. 50% of the world's population are fat and 50% are skinny. There you go - an accurate answer. No one can say this is not true.

Average is defined mathematically, it's the mean. To determine fat and skinny you need cut off points. This could be done using standard deviation, though not ideal. Also, weight isn't a true measure of fat. Fat is lighter than muscle.

Have a think about what you are trying to find out.
