Help with kegels

Question - (11 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 11 March 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

This is a weird question - when I get really turned on, instead of contracting, the walls of my vagina sort of like pull away from one another (like sucking air in), instead of contracting in on themselves.

I've never given birth and haven't had much sex. And anyway this was a problem before I ever had sex for the first time, anyway (my bf commented on it when he was fingering me once, he could tell).

I've heard of kegel exercises, but I'm not sure if I'm really doing them right and don't know how to tell, anyway.

Advice?
