I'm sure your not a nerd hun, just because you feel you are doesn't mean that other people look on you that way.

Try not to feel so intimated by what other people think.

If you really like this girl, get to know her, build up the confidence to talk to her, before asking her out.

I'm sure it will work out.

The worst that could happen is she will say no she just wants to remain friends, but if you get the vibe she likes you then go for it :)

Try dropping hints to her such as, Do you like anyone then as in the more than just friends way? Good luck X
