Fairy Doll agony auntHey there,

On reading your problem I am so glad to see that you have already committed yourself to "moving on". In my opinion, that is the hardest part...forgetting him will quickly become a lot easier now. I've been there, along with so many others, and the time-old remedy for getting over one guy is to do so with another guy. However, don't jump into another relationship too soon. You have been through a tough time and chances are you are still carrying some emotional baggage from your bad experience. As I said, I've been there, and no matter how good a friend you are to your fellow girlfriends, we all know that when we start seeing a guy, we tend to neglect our girlfriends ever so slightly. This is natural, we all do it. But this is the time where you make it up to them. Make plans to hang out with your friends, keep yourself busy, try new experiences, make new memories and soon your mind will be occupied with thoughts other than your ex.

By the way, with regard to songs, the best "I'm so over you" song is 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac. Turn it up really loud, listen to the lyrics and get ready to move on!!
