First and foremost, you know this relationship could never work out don't you? He's an adult, and as much as you feel mature, you are still technically a child (in the eyes of the law at any rate). All of us at some point or another have had a crush (which we see as REAL love at the time) at some point or another when really it's how the person we're attracted to treats us. The previous poster was correct in saying that a male teacher will treat girls much nicer than boys the same age as the girls. He's learned how to relate to females in a different way, and we know that teenage boys would rather punch a girl in the arm to let her know his feelings!Be a good student, be helpful and considerate to this teacher, but treat him like an older brother (though with more respect!) and you'll do fine. 14 is an extremely difficult age as you're beset with raging hormones and probably no outlet for those feelings. Join a sport club, make some new friends and just live life. No need to rush things.

I think "love" is a little exaggerated.
Teens usually have crushes on their teachers because guy teachers are nice especially to their students. And besides, the boys in the classroom don't treat girls just as nice most of the time.
You see, I have a crush on my teacher too. We're quite close, you know, best friend close. But we're just friends and that's just about it. I don't think I want to make our relationship complicated by doing something I'll regret later.
So, if you really can't take it anymore, keep it clean and become friends with him, teachers always appreciate students who put effort into everything~ Goodluck!

I think the reason we have crushes on our teachers is because they are nice to us plus they're cute. (we can't help that:)And it's just that the other boys in our class don't treat us as well as our teachers.
I have a crush on this teacher and we're quite close just like friends and I'm contented with just that, instead of ruining our friendly relationship by making it so complicated.
