I have known this guy since i was like two and i am 13 now and he is almost 17. i used to think that we were just friends because i didnt like him. i know he likes me because i talked to my dad and the day before our convasation my dad was talking to his parents and they say he talks about me all the time. when we were little supposivly we had gotten married and kissed on the couch.but i always deny it.and now 11 years later i think i love him. i have no clue how to tell him tho.so my question is How do i tell him that i like/love him? Right now your age difference is a little too great (you are in middle school and he is in high school). You'd run into the whole illegal relationship/statutory rape thing once he turned 18.
I think I know especially how you must feel - I fell for my childhood friend (since 3 years old) at 14 and was in love with him for many years. it never would have worked because we lived too far away, so I never told him. Now at 22 there's still mutual attraction and we've finally taken a stab at romance together. We still live too far apart for a relationship, but who knows what the future holds?

Find a bunch of friends that are equally close to him, (boy and girl) and go to a movie or something and see how he responds. If you have fun, ask him! Ask him "Next time, want to sit next to me?" Mak e it like a group date, and if that progresses tell him you like him and if he wants to go out sometime. I'm in the same boat, and it really is hard....
