A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Well I was with my sister and my two cousins at the movies. I was sitting next to my boy cousin. I was drinking soda through a straw and my cousin pulled down his shirt. Then I took another drinking and he put his hand down there like covered it. Then another drink and he crossed his legs. When the movie was over we started walking and I gave him a hug and something was touching my leg. He had a boner. (hug thing is a long story) it was akward. Other akward things happened too. Then everytime I looked at him he would pull his shirt down. He has a girlfriend and he is my second cousin. It was akward.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (13 July 2010):

I know it was awkward, but I promise that this wasn't anything to do with you at all. Teenage boys get an average of 11 erections a day, often for no reason. Basically, teenage boys are walking hormones. He was clearly very embarrassed about it, so don't avoid him or anything like that. Just accept that it happened, that it had nothing to do with you and that he was clearly very embarrassed about it.
