A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I have started to fall for a boy in my year. We are really good friends but one of my best friends has fancied him since the beginning of the year. Also his best friend fancies me.

I kissed him for a dare and I admit I loved it (lol cringe!)but I felt so guilty, i thought my friend would hate me. Everyone says he fancies her back but when I asked him he said he didnt.

Should I tell him (make a move) or would that only cause trouble? help!!!!!!!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2008):

Making a move like that can be unsettling to your best friend. Before making a move, I suggest you talk to your best friend about it so that she wouldn't like you're backstabbing her when you make your move to prepare her. Doing it behind her back is sneaky. All's fair in love and war. For the record, is the boy really that worth it for you to gamble your friendship for him? You know the say boys come and go but friends stick forever.

A male reader, the one who doesn't know Portugal +, writes (12 November 2008):

the one who doesn't know agony auntof couse that would make trouble! have you heard of the "Chaos theory" or "butterfly effect"? it says that a butterfly flying in japan, can cause a tornado in texas. that's the same thing. the even fact your near him, will cause rumors, which will grow up to tremendous proportions, and end up in someone's ears, which will tell your friend. so, having seen this, don't you think it's better to make your move? even if it means blowing up a friendship, cause if she's your friend she'll understand. if not, you've got to admit that she'll be very hurt, and give it a time. my friend don't fear to take that step. don't be afraid to be happy...
