I have no idea what's happened, or well other than I've obviously gained a tonne of weight, and I've literally tried everything. No diet or amount of exercise seems to work at all, I'm at a loose end at what to do! I have around about 2 months to lose about a stone, stone and a half?!Any massive ideas? :\ Reply to this Question Share |

I think you have to do a few things to solve your problem! Look around for someone who is good at sewing in your community and make inquiries about the cost of adjusting your dress for your new size - it maybe entirely possible to slot in some panels to that gorgeous dress. The second thing you need to do before doing any crash diets is see a doctor. If you are gaining lots of weight unexpectedly (i.e. you are not over-eating and you are reasonably active), then you need to be checked out for endocrine gland disorders and other possible explanations for your rapid gain. From what you say you have gained A LOT of weight in a short time - particularly since a person of your age would naturally have quite a high calorie burn naturally. Once you have excluded any medical explanation, I suggest you abandon the concept of a diet - it will make you miserable. It is much better to lose the excess slowly to keep it off and maintain your weight later on. You could try looking at low-carb eating plans and just gently increase your physical activity at the same time. If you go on a crash diet you will end up slimmer (perhaps) but with lousy hair and skin plus no energy.

You shouldn't be dieting OR excersizing you have to eat healthily and excersize a lot, and only three meals a day!

Diet and exercise dont work? Impossible. Dieting is hard to do properly, you need to cut out all snacks, all fried food. Only eat food that is cooked from scratch. Exercise is also hard to do right, play a sport, that forces you to keep going until the match is over.
The biggest weight gainer is boredom. If you spend all of your time out with friends, making money or studying, then youll never venture into the kitchen for a snack (when you are not hungry).
