I get to the point where I feel like I'm about to come, I get a hot flush and feel tingly through out my body, but then it seems to just disappear without giving me any sort of release. After this I usually carry on for while but then the sex or masturbation has lost it's pleasure and sometimes becomes painful, help!

Erm...you describe a warm tingly feeling that dissappears...this sounds like an orgasm to me. You are probably getting mixed up with these descriptions you read about the female orgasm feels like (long lasting, shaking, soul cleansing etc etc...) Every woman orgasms is different and in my opinion these descriptions are very highly exagerrated. I have never had an orgasm lasting longer than about 1-2 seconds and to be honest i too just get a tingly feeling that seems to dwindle and die and its nothing like The descriptions. You dont really say what you think an orgasm SHOULD feel like. I think your pretty normal as i dont get anything more than what you describe. Either that or i have been kidding myself and haven't actually had an orgasm myself! Ill keep checking your answers cause i think i may need some myself :0)

also im including sex in this. i've been with my boyfriend for 4 years (since i was 15) and we've been sexually active all that time, i've never came, through head, foreplay OR sex.
