writes: I like this guy, lets call him ben, i met him a few years back and met up with him recently, when we went into town before a friends concert it started raining so we hid in a shelter. we started playfighting, poking and tapping and i pushed him against a wall with my back against him. he held me and started hugging me, so i hugged him back. Later we kissed and hugged some more. when i text ben earlier his friend had his phone and read the text and replied. I said to his friend the text sounded wrong but wasn't about what he thought it was. He text back saying he was confused but he'd tell ben i text him. I feel so bad now, how do i know if ben likes me, and has the little incident ruined my chances with him? Please Help.

reader, anonymous, writes (13 July 2009): hey its me again. Ben is just a year older than me, I'm not sure whether he actually likes me or he is just a player. when I text him he puts 3 and (L) at the end of the messages does this mean he likes me???

Is Ben the same age as you? I am sure he wouldn't have been kissing on you if he didn't like you. Sounds to me like Ben needs to not let his friends reply his messages on his own phone. I think it was the other kid just being a usual boy that age.
I think may be you should talk to Ben the next time you see him about it. Young men and ladies your age are easily confused when they are exploring their young teenage years. I don't think you have a thing to worry about if you talk to him. But don;t take any bullcrap off him either.
