I have a clicky painful knee (better and worse at times)and got told by the hospital it was a 'tracking problem' meaning the muscles around it did not keep my knee joint bones properly aligned when bending it.
I got sent to a physio who put me on a muscle meter to determine the strength of the surrounding muscles and I hit the top of the scale straight away. The physio basically said treatment would have consisted of strengthening the surrounding muscle, but because it was already plenty strong that their was nothing they could do to assist me.
Hey, ho, back to square one, but does not mean another with a similar prob would not be in a position where they may benefit from physio and strengthening excercises.
Perhaps suggest to your Dr the possibility of a tracking prob, .. they can get a pretty good guage just from feeling what is going on whilst bending and straightening, so it will only take a min to have checked and is unobtrusive.

yeah, i dont know if this is it but many people mostly common in guys and some woman. there is joint pains that you get often and cant be solve by any creams or ect. the only advice i have for you is see if you parents or ect have knee problems because this is a very common inherited trait. again i dont know if this is it but for the pain you should take some advil, moltrin, ect. to ease the pain until you can get to the doctors.

Yes it could be arthritis, though it is unlikely. I could also be a calcium deficiency

I've been to a doctor, but nobody has ever been able to figure out what's wrong. One time when I twisted my knee I was referred to physiotherapy and that has helped a lot. I still have problems with my joints but they are a lot better and stronger than they were.
I would advise go to your doctor and maybe see about physio. Maybe your doctor will be able to give you a diagnosis and it will get sorted out.
Well, hope that helps :)

I'm not a doctor, but my aunt has arthritis, and she has these complaints. It could be that you have arthritis in your knees. Though again, I'm not a doctor. If you do have it, then there is little that can be done other than pain killers.
