I understand you're feeling scared. The thing is, going to the doctor will probably help sort all this out and stop you feeling scared. Many of the things you mention could be completely unrelated. For example, I recognise several of them, and have had them myself:
1) Heavier periods - this can often happen after your mid-thirties - I had it too. It can be especially bad if you don't do much exercise, you don't eat well, and you're overweight. I went on a diet and exercise regime and hey presto, periods became much lighter, more regular, better.
2) Waking in the night like that: I went through a period of doing that, too (interestingly, around the time when i had the heavy periods). It was related to stress and poor physical condition, I think.
3) Dizziness = low blood pressure perhaps. Also can be related to stress.
4) Swelling - could be to do again with diet, exercise and being overweight.
5) Palms and calves going red - sounds like a skin reaction to something you've eaten or drunk.
Those are my thoughts. BUT, and it's a BIG BUT, you must go to the doc to find out about this hard stomach business, and you must have the other things checked. Be brave - go and find out. It probably won't be anything as bad as you think, and so long as you don't go, you will feel worse. I think several of your symptoms are very much lifestyle and anxiety related. Changing how you live can RADICALLY change how you feel physically, I promise you.
Basically, your body is saying it isn't happy. You have to fix this in two ways: change how you live, and get your doc to check out the things you're not sure about. Then you can start getting better : )

Dearest Smiley, as much as you said you don't want to see a doctor ~ I suggest you do, or even pop yourself along to an open clinic, get some professional advice here.
I see that there's more than one problem that's worrying you, and you cannot rely and trust in God that all will be well.
What could be more important than your life?
Doctors are there for us, they're there to advise us, reassure and guide us, they're there to help cure us of any ailments.
I clearly understand that you are afraid of hearing bad news, this goes thru' the minds of many people when visiting their GP's, but would you not want reasurrance ~ and that peace of mind ~ that'll relieve that heavy burden that's been worrying you?
One appointment, that's all it take's for your mind to be put at rest. The longer you put off any problems, the worse they could become if not treated sooner rather than later and professionally.
Your problems may just be minor ailments that an be easily treated.
Now Smiley, you put your fears away ~ live up to that name of yours, and get to the doctor's as soon as you can, and let us know what he said.
I personally would like to know what he said to you. So you take care of yourself and I trust I'll be hearing from you soon.
BigSis xXx

Honestly - see a doctor. It's really your only sensible option.
