Headaches and mood changes - do I have a reason to worry?

Question - (8 August 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 8 August 2011)
A female Latvia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm a 19 years old girl and I feel a bit strange in the last time. The main thing is my head. I have headaches almost every morning after I wake up. My head hurts in different places - sometimes somewhere in forehead, sometimes in one or other side of my head, sometimes in the back of my head. The pain is different as well - sometimes it stings, sometimes it's throbbing, sometimes it just hurts. Usually it doesn't hurt at all in the evenings and in the middle of a day. The pain is weak, I can barely feel it, but it's regular. Head feels heavy and I want to rest against something. I don't use any painkillers. Could it be because I have to spend a whole day working with computer?

The other thing is my mood. I'm optimist, but I feel very down in the last time, I want to stay alone. I don't want to do anything, I'm very tired and I feel terrible weakness. All I really want to do is sleep. I've become very emotional, I can star to cry about smallest things, like sad events with heroes of my favorite TV series. I can't escape of thoughts about serious diseases, every day I'm thinking about death. Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind.

I think I used to feel like this months ago, later these feelings disappeared. My aunt told me that young people at my age sometimes feel like this. Is that true? What can I do to feel normal again?

I used to go through allsorts of emotions at 19, but if I ever noticed it to be unusual I saw the doctor, Don't worry about it and make an appointment!! and I really do hope you feel better soon xx
