Then, he did everything he could to make me think he liked me - flirting, texting, etc. But recently, he won't text me back, and when I ask him why, he just gives me a stupid answer, like he doesn't know what to answer. It's a normal text, like 'hey, wuu2? have you done the english hw?'. And then he asked me if I was jealous (long story). Does he still like me? What am I supposed to do?

I would stop texting him as well. IF he is interested he will find SOMETHING to talk about...
Also I know it's common for many "young" folks to conducts relationships and friendships through text, but to me (old person) it seems so shallow, impersonal and fake.
WHY not pick up that phone.. dial the number and actually talk? or go for coffee, pizza whatnot and just talk/hang out?

What are you supposed to do? Stop texting him, for starters and asking why he isn't responding.
Boys of his age tend to be quite fickle: one "minute" they like you, the next they don't. It's normal for them to not know their own minds.
Try not to think about him, and not to worry about whether he's friendly or not. The world won't come to an end over this, you know.
