At the beginning he was great, he couldn't do enough for me... he was great with my two children from my previous relationship. He has a guard up and said it won't come down for me... also he wanted to take things slow.. he don't want to commit. So i broke it off with him, on facebook i uploaded a pic of me and a friend (a guy) and he said it hurts him to see stuff like that as he still cares for me... If he is like that then why don't he want to be with me?? i'm so confused please help

 It seems he doesn't know what he wants. He "things" he doesn't want a relationship with you, but then he sees a picture of you with another guy and it sparks jealousy.
Until he figures out what he wants, there isn't a whole lot you can do about that. Don't let him make you feel guilty about moving on with your life, and seeing other guys. You being ready for a relationship, and him not, means he just isn't the right guy for you at this particular time.
