writes: So, I have been going out with a guy for about 5 months. We have gone out before, but our relationship has never been as good as it is now. However, he will not ask me to be his girlfriend. I asked him why and he said he does not want his family to know about him having a girlfriend because they will blame her for any problems he has at school or at home. Making you his girlfriend is between the two of you, it has nothing to do with his family. If he decides to hide it from his family that's his business. But him not asking you to be his girlfriend for that reason is weird.Good luck.

But if he hides your relationship from his friends & everyone else too, then the family is probably just an excuse and he doesn't wanna declare this relationship for his own reasons.
