However since then he still hasn't been himself as he's worried that his name has been stained and can't get another job (he was a chemical engineer before he got sacked after being charged). reader, anonymous, writes (20 January 2007): ok you say falsely accused, which could mean a whole lot of things, what i mean is, was he charged or just accused, did he go to prison, did the girl admit truth?
there are millions of innocent people that sit in jail for crimes they didnt commit, it outrages me that the Media is quick to jump on these poor people by branding them a rapest etc. but when the truth finally comes out that the person never committed them crimes, the media shows no interest what so ever.
the poor victims of injustice are just meant to go on their way, but how can they when their lives have been put to reuin because of a stupid girl or stupid woman for making such allegations in the first place. They cant carry on as they lived before, because unfortunately there are too many small minded people out there that love the gossip etc. the snide looks and the comments from people never go away and that is so unfair.
i think the women AND men who falsely accuse should be NAMED AND SHAMED!!! People like that should not just be sent to jail, but straight to the doctors for some serious help, because thats what they need!!
i wish your friend all the luck in the world with his future!!!

 Is You Friend from the state's? because here in the uk we have law that mean's u can't get sacked for crap like that. i think it's stupid that in the uk there's a law saying if u take a drunk girl home u got 2 ask her 2 say yes 2 sex. before u can do anything. or else it's rape
i know there r sick people in the world today but people like your friend gets suckered into the liers that just want attention.
people that lie about rape i think sould goto jail for a year just to learn them u can't lie about rape it's not fun for the guy who is sometime's not guilty.

 I dont see why he wouldn't be able to. Tell him to talk to his former boss. Make sure the former boss knows that he was cleared and didn't commit any crime. That way, he may still be able to get a reference from them. Other than that, there should be no problem in getting a job
