writes: I've been together with my boyfriend for almost a year. He was my first boyfriend so that leaves me pretty inexperienced. There are times when we're alone and he leans in but doesn't kiss me or anything but I know he wants to. Everytime he actually does kiss me, I stop him. It's not that I don't want to kiss him, because I do. It sounds stupid, but I don't know what to do. Help me! Reply to this Question

I'm not quite sure what is on your boyfriend's mind now but if I was him I would probably be confused. In my opinion I think you have sent him a wrong signal. You're telling him something like you're not ready to be kissed. But don't worry he would definitely try again because he knows you love him & kissing is just one of those things when you're in love. Try asking these questions to yourself though: Why do you stop him from kissing you? There must be reasons for that. Do you think that by allowing him to kiss you you're giving him a signal to proceed with something more advance like petting & eventually he'll ask for sex? Are you afraid of this?You said that you do want him to kiss you so it shows that you're a willing party & I think you also want to kiss him. After that incident where you stopped him from kissing you, did he show any sign to kiss you again? If the answer is yes then next time if you are alone with him, kiss him! I'm sure he wouldn't mind in fact he'll feel relieve as you'll be showing him that you actually want to kiss him as well.Good luck mate!
