writes: This summer I got a job working in an office on my college campus. The great thing about it is that my college offers camps for kids and I get sent out to them to help as a teachers aide since i want to become a teacher. This past week has been the most exciting week of the whole summer being as i met a guy who I really clicked with. We spent the whole week making a movie with kids ranging from 13-17 years old. The movie was so much fun to make and it turned out to be the best one the camp has ever seen. Basically on Monday when I met him he was really nice to me because he is kind of a mellow person and we got along really well. On tuesday he was talking to me more and asking me alot of questions about myself and really trying to get to know me when I offered to help him bring his stuff to his car we talked for about an hour after work and he asked me for my number. Wednesday he told me I looked pretty and kept looking at me all day long and we hung out after work and went on a walk. it was very romantic and he was very sweet and we kissed. I then told him I wasnt usually like this and that I didn't just go around kissing guys i barely knew especially ones i worked with and he said he wasnt like that either except with girls (hehe). So then on Thursday we had a great day he even came in early to spend time with me in the morning since the camp runs from 9am to 2pm and i go into work at 8am so he said he wanted to keep me company. All day he was flirting with me and after work he took me out to eat and payed but when he left he said he thought it was better this way. As he said this and as he said goodbye to me he closed his eyes as if he almost regretted saying it to me. then on friday was the big premeire of our movie and it was great. he told me two times that day that he thought i looked pretty even though things are better as friends. it told him that we can be friends and hang out despite our age difference because I'm very mature for my age and i take alot of responsibility and have been doing so since i was 13 years old. the big question is what should i do? I'm 19 years old and he's 26 years old. I have a crush on him as immature as that is but its the only was to explain it. I dont get along with people or like them this much that often. this is the second time it has happened in about a year or two. He feels too old for me and I hate that he feels that way. I just dont know what to do is there anything i can say to him?

As long as the two of you are on the same page in life, nothing else matters. If you click emotionally, intellectually and physically, you have the making of a good relationship. Its between you and him, outsiders should have no effect on your feelings toward one another. 7 years is nothing. 17 years, now thats something worth fretting over.
