Question - (16 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 16 December 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I've been with my boyfriend for 6 months and he's an amazing guy. He's told me how lucky he is to have me, that to him I'm perfect and that he couldn't imagine his life without me in it.

The other day we were talking and he said that he can imagine spending the rest of his life with me. he said that he's been feeling like that for a while but wasn't sure if he could say it without scaring me off.

He hasn't said the "I love you" yet so I wonder if the other things he's said mean that he does love me but he just can't say it for some reason?

I know I can ask him myself but I don't want to jump the gun.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (16 December 2009):

From what you've said it sounds like he truly loves you, and by not saying it, it make it all the more special when he does. If he wants to spend his life with you then he probably loves you. If you wanted to find out, just slip in something like "do you love me" and he's sure to reply with "of course" or something similar. Hope this helps.
