writes: A man I met last month seemed to be a nice guy who was genuinely interested in me - asked questions, was attentive, tried to send business my way, etc.But several times he said he was going to call on a certain day, but then didn't, and called either a day or two later. I know he works a lot of hours, and I don't think he's been in a relationship in a while. So, is he just rusty, or are there other issues? Last week he said he would call me early in the week to make plans, and here it is Thurs already and I haven't heard from him yet. Reply to this Question Share |

reader, anonymous, writes (25 January 2007): If he promised a call by a certain date and did not follow through he is mostly disorganized, but he did call you so it seems he is interested, but I am not sure he is on fire about you, who knows....doesn't matter if he is rusty at dating it is what it is.
If you want to I think you can call him since he said he would call you, just don't mention at all that you haven't heard from him or ask why he did not call, he will take that as pressure, and he may just be testing you to see how clingy you will be....men hate that and older guys are notorious for playing that game....proceed with caution, he may be a player.
