The other day he said to his friend that i like him but he seemed like he was kidding around he had did it twice but i said i didnt like that kid. after i thought about it he idk if he wanted me to admit if i liked him cause i never told him that i like him friends told him.Do you think he likes me? what do i do?

reader, anonymous, writes (16 December 2008): Alright, you are in high school so in reality this does not matter. If you like him just let him know, or just ask him on a casual "hang out" and see what his reaction is, if he accepts see how he acts towards you and in general when you go out. The worst that could happen is he could be a total prick, embarrass you or stand you up, and in a few weeks it won't matter at all. Would you consider him "way out of your league"? If not then I would say him calling you hot is out of attraction for you, not him being an ass hole.
