He says he likes me and is attracted to me but he now says we hv both come out of bad relationships and right now he can't give me what I want. He says he still wants to see me and he doest want to loose me. I told him, all want is friendship and slowly we can get to know each other better, if thats what he wants. He agreed. We chat via sms but he doesn't ask me any question, trying to get to know me and he has made no attempt since our discussion, to see me again. I invited him out for a drink and he said he can't make it because he has to work the next day. I very confused and not sure how to deal with this. I have tried to give him space but now he's become aloof. Help please. Reply to this Question

 I think he might be giving you a polite brush off. Its only three days, it is possible you were too eager and tried to rush things too fast for him. Just take it steady, limit the sms, dont always be the one to initiate contact, and see what happens.
If he is still aloof after 6 weeks or so, accept that he isnt really interested and let it go. Sometimes the chemistry just isn't there and we need to accept this.
