writes:in the summer of 2005 i went to Puerto rico for a month,then when i came back to new jersey i saw these men walking down the street.and i had never seen them before. little did i know that they moved across the street from me. then after 8 months thats when i went outside and i notice one of the guys and at first site i fell in love with him.then little by little i said hi to him everytime i would see him,then i asked for his name but i couldnt unserstand then i asked him where is her from and he said Poland. so then i went online and tried to learn polish.and then in his langauge i said that i like him but all he did was smile and left.few weeks later i found his number and talked with his cousin..i told his cousin that i like his cousin alot but he said that im only 16 and i told him age doesnt matter.and i never had a chance to talk to my love. but everytime i heard his car turn on i would run to the front and look at him and he would look at me and give a smirk..we would always give each other the "eye"and i really do like him alot..and i feel like sometimes he think of me and when he drives by my house i hear him go slow..and i found out that he is very conservtive..:( i cry when i think he is with a girl..i saw him talkin on the phone and i got so jelous i saw him check out some girl and i got soo jelous..no matter how hard i try to get him of my mind i cant :( and i get really down i need help/advice..i know im young(16)his 6-7 years apart but the # are close and dont really matter.

 You're right. It doesn't matter. If you were 22 and he was 28 it wouldn't matter at all. The thing is that right now it does. This is such a hard response to write because I don't want you to feel I'm patronising you but you're still so young and things are different in Poland to America. Girls are less up front about their feelings and guys do the chasing so he's probably scared off a little by that and a little by your age. Give it a few years. If you're really meant to be time will solve all problems.
