Hello,

I have a huge crush on this one guy. We are both really busy with school. I told him that I really liked him and he said that he really likes me a lot as a friend though as we are both very busy with school. What does this mean. I never had a guy say that they really like me a lot. I dont know if there is anything there.

Please help=/

Danielepew agony auntI agree with the other poster. Take his words to mean what they literally mean: he likes you "AS A FRIEND". Forget about any other interpretation of it. He didn't add the logical complement of his words: "I like you as a friend... SO DON'T EXPECT A RELATIONSHIP FROM ME". Maybe he wanted to sort of "soften" his words.

Guy language (unlike girls) in general is pretty literal. In most cases this means:" I don't want a relationship with you, but I don't want to hurt your feelings."

There could be any number of reasons for why a guys feels that way. Except don't buy the "sex could ruin the friendship" line cause guys just don't think that way. Maybe he's just inexperienced/nervous....
