reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2008): Maybe he's confused about his feelings, maybe even a bit scared, especally if it's new to him, maybe even not new to him, may not make a lot of sense here, sorry. Basically, maybe he's afraid he will get hurt, but doesn't excuse him from hurting you, now, maybe you should go to his house, meet up with him somewhere, and just talk about the situation. Tell him how you felt when he said that, but don't argue, then ask him why he did what he did, and just communicate with each other.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2008): He might be mucked around. But at the same time he might be confused and keeping his true feelings secret...Talk to him, not his mother, and don't assume. Don't tell him what you think because he'll just agree to make it easier. Say how much its hurt you and you want the truth.Then you can make your mind up about what to do...besides its been 2 years, its not like he doesn't like you. He just might not be at the next level tis all.
