He was texting me that night most of the times I did text back but towards the end he was a little pushy about wanting to know what I was doing after I'd been out and with the possibility of a girlfriend I wanted to leave it for now and see how things worked out knowing I'd see him again soon. Basically when I didn't text back he text saying sorry if I was being a jerk which he was (but only a little tiny bit) and asking me to text back. I didn't think there was much more to say so left it at that. Since then he hasn't text me once. The next time I saw him we both smiled at each other so I thought that's good everything is okay. But from then on he is completely blanking me, can someone please tell me why he would do this? I don't understand what the problem is?! He doesn't seem the shy type either so that doesn't explain it!

Well you just need to be very blunt with this guy and ask him if he has a girlfriend. If you want him tell him you are into him. Guys can't take hints so just tell him how you feel. Guys have egos too and don't want to get turned down. He probably thinks you aren't that into him if you weren't texting him back and feels stupid for telling you that he likes you. That's probably why he is ignoring you because he got his ego hurt. Just text him or call him and let him know how you feel.

Look you like the guy, be a woman and ask him on a date, make sure to ask him if he is free for a date (ie do you have a gf) On the date see how it goes, you obviously like him somewhat otherwise wouldnt be bothered about him blanking you, find out where its is going and relax and enjoy it.
