A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Ok; so i like this boy, and i have told him i liked him, now things between us have completely changed. We used to laugh and joke but now all people talk about is me liking him, they make a big deal about it and it makes me feel nervous around him. He has said he doesnt like me like that but he gives me compliments, and playfully hits me, is that a sign?? I cant get him out of my head. How can i get him to be my boyfriend? What should i do abou liking him?

It sounds like you have a really good friendship with him, that's the ultimate :-) What is it about being called his girlfriend that would make it so much better? You are way too young to try sex, so what is there to gain? Enjoy his friendship and the time he spends with you and don't muck it up by insisting he be your boyfriend.

ok looking at your age you seem far too young to have a 'boyfriend" anyway.

but i think you should just go with the flow dont force things, he has already told you he doesnt feel tht way about you so just be friends. if he wants to take it furthur it will happen but for the moment enjoy his company and don't feel nervous.

people will always talk ignore them. :)
