I was chattin about a guy who tried to chat me up and i said that he shoulda been there to kick his ass ... he then said he would of asked him why he is flirting with gf ... ? Okayyy but, on his facebook he is single? He is a tad bit older .. 46 and I am 21 - could this status just be something that he forogt to change? His facebook activity isnt flowing shall we say.thanks!x

 He either doesn't see the need in changing it, it's out of his mind, or he forgot. Those relationship statuses on Facebook aren't really a big deal to me, like I wouldn't go change it (it wouldn't be the first thing I think of) whether I'm single, in a relationship, or whatever else is there. You say he isn't really active on Facebook, so he had no time to change it, or didn't take notice.
If this bothers you (which sounds like it does), mention this to him jokingly so he doesn't feel like you're implying anything.

 You said he works on cruise ships and he's much older too so he probably does not have much time to go on facebook or maybe he has not even realised that people actually notice other people relationships status on facebook, i wouldnt worry too much about the facebook issue. However i do think you should communicate all the time so that you can start to feel secure about being his gf if it is wat you both want.
