Well, we weren't close until he kind of had a quarrel with his best girl friend and he sort of joined my friends and I. We've been really close friends for like a year and I must say I totally loved the time we had together. But now we don't go to the same school and he's good friends with his former best girl friend now, which saddens me somehow, because I feel like I was just his temporary substitute for the year. But for some reason, I know that no matter what he chooses, and whether or not he still considers me his best or just a close friend, I will still care for him. I know it sounds weird, but to say that he holds a special place in my heart is not exaggerating at all. Is this normal? I mean, does anyone have any similar experience?
