writes: I like this guy that is my brother's friend. I only get to see him about once or twice a week. Sometimes he gets close to me and acts like I wold think that someone who likes me would act. But then other times he'll ignore me. Another problem is he has a girlfriend - my friend. Does he like me? What should i do? I liked him first then all of a sudden my friend asked him out. I can't stop thinking about him.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 March 2007): Get over him. I know that it's hard but he's your friend's boyfriend now and you don't want to risk your friendship for him do you? Find someone in which isn't romantically involved with your friends. After all you are only young and have plenty of relationship to go before you settle down. How likely is it that if you did have a relationship with your friend's boyfriend that it'll last a long time? Answer would be (usually) not very likely (especially seeing as he's giving out mixed messages). Best thing to do is move on.

I don't think you should do anything about how you feel about this boy. You could lose your friend, and this boy's friendship, and also really annoy your brother.
I suggest you just remain friends with this guy and soon enough someone else will catch your eye
