Well in my exprience dating someone his age and who lives as far away as he does makes life a little bit difficult. If you really like him I like you should mention it to him, but be aware that having a long distance relationship is hard work. For me it was a little bit different because I was home schooled and he worked so it wasn't that hard getting in touch with him. I think I valued our friendship and relationship better because we hardly got to see each other and you know what they say, "Absents makes the heart grow fonder." So hopefully it works out for you like it did for me.
