A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend have been great, I wouldn't say anything has been wrong. I'm going away tomorrow for Christmas for a week and me and my boyfriend organized to hang out tonight before I went away. Except I haven't heard from him all day, I called his home but his parents said he was at the beach so I just figured that he would contact me before he came over tonight. At about 8 I contacted his home again and his parents said he had came home but left again with mates and wont be back until tomorrow. He knows I leave early tomorrow morning and won't be able to see him. What is going on, should I be worried..

Mmmmmmm. Well either he doesn't care, he's forgotten (unlikely) or he is making a point - because actually he's fed up you're going away for a week. What it does say is that he hasn't got you and your relationship at the front of his mind I'm afraid and maybe you want someone who is a bit more mature and reliable? I'd play it cool and just let him contact you.
