He came back for 4th and I was waiting for him and he said he would be at my house like and hour didnt show up but then called me like 3 hours later and said he had an emergency he had to take his friend to the airport. I said to him 'you couldnt have called me? you are selfish and you dont think about me.' He aplogized but do u think i should give him a second chance? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionso all the readers know i did forgive him. he told me he was sorry and that he isnt perfect.because we get along great and he us a sweetheart.i just have alot of trust issues cause of my ex so hard other stuff starts popping in my head.

Definitely give him a second chance. Have a conversation with him about how it made you feel, but be careful not to be critical of him. Also, it sounds like he had a rough day as well (Emergency, etc) - ask about that. A little empathy goes a long way in these situations.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2009): Yeah probably. People make mistakes. It's possibly he honestly just didn't think to call you? Some guys just lack common sense sometimes! If he does it frequently you may have cause for giving him a silent treatment for a long while, but as it is I'd just let him know you're angry, make him feel guilty and apologize, and then just move on.
