A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There is this boy i know... he is kind to me, he jokes around with me, and he pays me compliments. However he is 3 years older than me!!

I really like him, but do you think he fancies me? Or is he just being a nice friend??

I know its hard to tell from the lack of info here, but could you please put your opinion across or tell me how to tell when a guy fancies you....

A male reader, kenny United Kingdom +, writes (15 November 2007):

kenny agony auntIt does sound like he does like you, joking around with you, and also giving you compliments too are a good sign he does like you. Generally when a guy fancies you he may want to be around you all the time, he may give you lots of direct eye contact, playfully touch your arm, touch your hands when taking something, and compliment you on how good you look, or how nice your hair is.

If you really like him, and you think he likes you i would however wait until you are at least 16/17 before dating him. I know 3 years is nothing and in a couple of years when you are 17 and he 20 it will seem like nothing atal. But as you are still 13-15 i would just wait till you are over the age of consent.

Hope this helps and goos luck to you x
