Before me he dated this other girl for 1 year and some months but she broke it off and it was 5 months after that that we started talking. He says he likes me a lot because he can act like himself when he's around me but when he was with this other girl before me, he wouldn't act like himself and tried to be funny and things like that. Before we started talking I heard a comment from my friend saying that he had liked the other girl a lot because it looked like he tried a lot. Does it seem like he likes me a lot? I once dated my best guy friend but in the end we broke up, simply because the feelings we had for each other were deeper, and right now we're like siblings (some people say we are inseparable). This could be the same with you or the other reason could be, some guys like to impress other girls (mostly their girlfriend's friends) to set a good example and in a strange way make you want to seem proud of him, he does seem quite interested in you though.
