A female , anonymous writes:

i have been going through some things with family and even personaly..so at work i haven't been the happiest..if someone approaches me or talks to me i have no attitude; i think i am pretty sweet and kind. I don't take my problems out on anyone. I don't think it is obvious to everyone that maybe i am upset on the inside but one guy who i actually like a little at work always says hi and asks how i am (he is polite to everyone). Sometimes when we look at each other as he is passing i feel like its a different look compared to other people.

He even approached me one afternoon saying he knows something is wrong and offered to go out for drinks to talk. Something came up so we couldnt. But I think its him more than anyone else who notices me a little upset and sees it in my eyes. He knows a little of what's going on but not everything. I am pretty quiet at work and private as well.

We did wind up making out once about 2 months back after a night out with coworkers but nothing has happened since. I wonder if some part of him likes me or is just concerned about me in a "friends" only type way. I actually left early last week and rushed out for a dr appointment. And in the morning when he walked he said hi and my name and had a look like he was wondering what happened that i left like that.

Do these situations attract a guy sometimes? like for him to be there for me and look out for me? or does it just look pathetic and he feels bad for me? Maybe i should just pretend everything is perfectly fine and sound more upbeat and not have that sad look in my eyes anymore.

Denise32 agony auntMy guess would be that he does like you and is concerned about you as well. If the two of you made out (don't know if you mean you had sex or just some kissing & cuddling sort of thing) but nothing happened since, I guess he finds you attractive and possibly there's not been an opportunity to go out on a date since.

Perhaps you might try being a little more upbeat and have a smile on your face, and see what happens........anyway, if you can bring yourself to smile and focus a little on being more positive, it will in fact bring about a bit more happiness for you.......
