 i don't think you should feel offended at all, try not to worry.
this must be a difficult subject for your boyfriend to broach with his daughter, as she may have worries/concerns, or be upset or angry as it will be confusing for her. maybe he is worried about how best to tell her, what her reaction to be and how it may affect relations between the three of you. i doubt this is any reflection on how he feels about you.
i think your best bet is to be supportive of him. but of course he does need to tell her and discuss everything with her so she feels informed and trusted - as you are five months gone he is running out of time! perhaps try gently encouraging him towards telling her, ask if he knows how or when he will tell her, or talk about the best ways to keep the daughter happy and make her feel part of an expanding family.
