I am assuming he broke it off and is saying its because you had another man before him... that is an excuse.. he dosent want to marry because he is just not that into you... your not the one. Unfortuantly people don't just come right out and say "its you and were not compatable" they make up excuses so they don't feel so bad.
I am assuming he said he don't want to talk to you ever again due to the fact that you havent been able to let this go.. and I don't blame you really, given the circumstances in which he broke up with you in.. left you with a ton of questions and open endings...
my suggestion is to let it go... seriously.
you cannot make anyone love you or marry you...
you can only hope.
