writes: i need help. i have been with my boyfriend for going on two years. we own our on buisness.(bar) we have a four month old daughter together.well since i have had her, he dont want to spend time at home with us he wants to be at the bar. i am very insecure because of past relationships and his past relationships scare me to. he used to cheat on his ex-girlfriends. and i met him when i started working at the bar. so we started dating then , i left my husband for this guy. he wanted me around him all the time and now he dont want to be around me.we argue all the time. what do i do?

 This can be a difficult time for a new father and I wonder if he has been feeling excluded during what has probably been a very special time for you and your daughter? I would suggest that you find a good time to talk to each other about the way you are feeling at the moment and possibly find ways of encouraging him to take part in caring for your daughter maybe while you do some of the work at the bar? Your daughter is going to benefit from healthy relationships with each of you and your boyfriend may yet have to learn what joy this could bring him.
