writes:hi. i have heard so many times that a lot of boys get erections while kissing and hugging there gf's.well im 16 and so is my bf. we have been together for roughly a month and a half and he has never had an erection when we have kissed and hugged!why is this? does this mean he is not attracted to me? :((but he must be attracted to me cos he is always saying i am beautiful and how i am perfect for him etc).

Different guys are different, and expecially when a guy is still a virgin, (in my experience) kissing doesnt always have enough association with actual sex in their minds/bodies to stimulate an erection. Just take things easy and let it be natural, and not pressured and everything will be fine!!

If you're looking to move farther, then I'll bet that erection will show up eventually. Sometimes it takes more for certain guys to get horny. I think he does really like you, and he's just keeping it classy. Don't rush things, when you feel like making a next step, you'll take it - and the erection will probably show up in the next base or two.

Although some guys can get a hard on at the drop of hat, some guys don't. That's just their physical make-up. It has nothing to do with you and his attraction to you.
When I was in high school, I could be sitting in class, talking to an attractive girl, and the next thing you know my member was standing at attention. The worst thing was to have the teacher ask me to write something on the blackboard while I was in that state of arousal. It was very embarrassing. LOL. I usually took a sheet of paper or a notebook with me for some camouflage. LOL.
