reader, anonymous, writes (10 January 2009): wow. at your age, do you really know what love is? I'm at least three times your age, and I don't think i know what love is. If you have feelings for someone, tell them so. don't be shy about it and expect them to guess. Tell them how you feel. If he has feelings for you, then he will tell you too. A relationship over the miles might not be the best thing, and given the age difference, not so much the difference in age, but the fact that you are so young, allow time to develop your relationship until you are old enough to succumb. On the other hand, don't put everything into a relationship with someone you met on the internet. type-written words are so easy to manipulate, and until you talk to this person face to face, it's hard to really "fall in love". things present themselves in person that you can't see in an email.
