But this week he comes to school with a girlfriend on his arm. While a lot of my friends say he likes me because when ever we are around him they see him looking at me and when they talk to him and my name comes up he smiles. Does he like or not? If he liked you then I don't think that he'd be coming in with a girlfriend on his arm. Are you sure it's a girlfriend and not just a friend of his he was walking with? And are you sure that he really likes you in any way except for just as a friend?
It's so easy for these situations to become much more of a headache than they need to be. My suggestion would be for you to ask him out. I know it might seem scary at first but you'll find as life goes on that guys really love it when women go after what they want. Just ask him if he'd like to go to the movies this weekend, or for a burger one day after school. If you don't want to ask him on a date, then just tell him that you really like him and you were wondering if he felt the same way. Either way, you'll get the answer, and you can move on.
Remember that things really don't have to be all that complicated, and sometimes your friends can unintentionally make it worse.
Good luck!
Saoirse.
