writes:me and my boyfriend have been togther 3 weeks, but known each other for 14 months. he seems to put his friends before me. He will check if hes doing anything with them before he agrees to see me. Am I wrong to feel upset about this? Also last week I was upset because my friends let me down at the last minute for going out so I asked if I could join him and his mates and he said No coz he would feel obligied to be keep going over to me when he was supposed to be with his mates. reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2007): it should never happen that way friends should always come last god i never check with friends first if i got things planned if i have they get told im going out or doing somethink else so they go in the bottom of the list until am free

reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2007): Yes you have the right to be upset e shouldn't do that at all he should be wanting to show you off !!!! but it is still early yes you know him for 14 months but you have only been going out with him for 3 weeks give him some time, but you have to understand that he needs his friends as much as you do and if it keeps going like this do the same play him at his own games he soon see its not nice.
But like i said ive him a couple of weeks then if he still the same pull him about it but be nice don't let him see hoe much he hurt you
