writes: Hello,I really love this guy who also happens to be my best friend. At one stage he said we could never be anything more than friends but now he has agreed to see if there can be something more between us.He says he will renounce the world if something happens to me, he cares for me like crazy. He used to be really aloof but the last time he kissed me on the cheek several times when I was talking. He also keeps stroking my hair and holding me tight and he lifted me and made me sit on his lap and pulled me close.He is the shy kinds so this is unlike him. He says he doesnt know what love really is.Please help, it is so wonderful when we are together that I want to help him arrive at a decision one way or the other because this grey area is hard for both of us at the moment.SN

 All you can do is be is honest with him. Tell him exactly what you want with this relationship.
Though don't push him into going faster then he is comfortable with.

Hi,It seems to me that your friend is playing with your emotions. He is pushing all the right buttons, that is to say, he knows your feelings towards him, You need to be direct, and listen yoour inner self, you know what, I bet that he gets kicks from leading you on, because that is exactly what he is doing. This is cruel. Say to him, that YOU want to reamin freinds, let him do the chasing. Be assertive, you are worth more tan this cheek kissing and hair stroking, when I guy really loves you he don't hang around playing silly beggars. The grey area is what he has devised, colour it pink!!
