Some guys cannot get back to normal functional behavior when they talk to their gf so they avoid her till they get work done. Sometimes there is a long history (ask his parents) of being quiet/introvert. Nothing wrong, some people are like that.

2 days? common now. my ex boyfriend would go 2 weeks without talking to me, and when he did, it was never more "lol"'s and "cool"'s. so you can relax that he isn't glued to his phone to talk to you.
