writes: Hello everyone.I have been with a guy for about 15 months now, however most of this ( over a year) has been long distance, as he moves about for work each year. He is due to move to the same city as me in 3 days time!I thought everything was fine and I was so excited about his move and the difference it would make to our relationship, I was happy to spend Xmas and new year with him for the first time. However a few days ago, he broke it off with me after an argument happened on the phone, it was all over me wanting to know what the matter is as he had seemed distant and sad for the few days before hand. It came out that he feels unable to talk to me about his feelings and why he feels down and insecure some times and therefore is frustrated but thinks we are not right for each other!I do not want to break up, I love him dearly and all I want is to comfort and support him and make this year great for him and his work.I have figured he does not like my crying and begging fro him back, I have not heard from him in 2 days! He said he will come and collect his things from me when he gets to my city on the weekend! What can I do to get him back!! He says he still likes me and will miss me, this all is very confusing for me.thanks guys!

There is really nothing you can do to get him back. It is best if you try to move on. It will hurt a lot less than trying to hang onto something that doesn't want to be held onto. Even if you did make him feel guilty enough to come back it wouldn't be long term. In order for a relationship to work both parties need to come to the relationship willingly.
Take care and just know there are lots of folks out there going through a break up. You are not alone.
