Today (this might sound a little sad) he was in my double lesson, Media Studies. We were all waiting outside for the teacher to arrive and he came and stood really close to me, which I loved. Also, as we were getting into bus queues to go home, he asked if he could borrow 60p for the bus home, I gave it to him and he said thanks, I'll pay you back tomorrow (don't worry he is very trustworthy) and I said, ok.Then he said, 'I love you, bye!'I can barely believe it. Obviously he's most likely saying it in the way friends do. I asked my best friend and she thinks I should ask him out. she thinks there's a good sign he likes me and I'm just worried he doesn't like me like that. Also, I feel I can't ask him because I can be quite shy at times.I'd appreciate any feedback.

If you are 100% sure you'd want to date him, go for it. But be clever. Don't just ring him up and go "errr wanna go out?"
If you arn't sure, why not try a little harmless flirting? If he flirts back, it means either he likes you or he's just a flirt. Which sounds more like him?
If he doesn't, it means he either doesn't like you (worst luck!) or he's clueless.
Hope i helped a bit - I'm fairly young too, so i'm not exactly certain.
